Taman IMAJI at Brightspot

Since its humble beginnings in 2009, Brightspot has become Jakarta's very own pop culture event that stays true to its curation of local brands from fashion to F&B. This year, Brightspot is held in Pacific Place in the heart of Jakarta's commercial district and is bigger than ever.

Of course we had to bring something new to the table so we showcased our latest arrivals "Taman" or in English "Garden" at Brightspot 2018. These new arrivals consist of a reworked Banbu Kimono, Unisex Ranting Shirt, and special handmade collages top by the amazing girls of Naplab Studio. The collection itself offers fresh basic cuts that you can wear almost everyday. Boys and girls, young or old, all the pieces from our new arrivals are freesizes that fits to XL.

All the collages in our black and white top are handmade and was made out of our fabric waste. Completed with hand-stitch details, these tops are limited stock and is part of our ongoing #imajizerowasteproject. We continue to build partnership with talented people and Naplab Studiois part of the IMAJI Studio family that dedicates their artisanal skills to create fabric art. Created by two girls Nadhira Riezkya and Putik Amirasari, they originally collage small fabric to make one of a kind cushion covers.

It's our first time joining Brightspot and it was truly our pleasure. To be placed alongside Indonesia's street fashion titans is such an experience to savour. Brightspot is the people we meet, the people we talk with, and also the other brands that continue to share their ups and downs in Jakarta's fashion scene. Here's to our late night loading in and out, to our in-between coffee breaks, we hope to see you again next year!
